Today’s ruling by the Supreme Court shouldn’t be particularly surprising to anyone. Not at this stage of the game and not if the more galaxy-brained among you have noticed the political system’s cunning ability to take populist angst, mollify it, and use it as immunity against its own subversion.
As we pointed out on a recent episode of FTN, The Federalist Society was founded and stewarded by revolutionary communist Jews turned neoconservatives. Not only have all current Republican-nominated Supreme Court Justices been members, the Federalist Society has also opposed GOP picks, as was the case with Harriet Miers. Her nomination was skewered by Federalist Society opposition.
“We must secure a conservative nominations to the Supreme Court” is one of the cliche GOP platform planks trotted out every other November. Yet even after the levers are pulled and the court is stacked heavily to the right, even the most stalwart conservative opinions such as the one mustered by Constitutionalist-in-Chief Brett Kavanaugh end up being, well, gayer than you can possibly imagine:
“This is an important victory achieved today by gay and lesbian Americans.”
Victory for gays, lesbians, and grotesque science experiments. How originalist. Though given what we’re uncovering about America’s founding, maybe it’s not so far off the mark.
Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch are two Trump appointed products of the gatekeeping Federalist Society, but it didn’t start there. “Swing vote” John Roberts is as well. It also goes beyond the Supreme Court. The Federalist Society’s membership also includes Bill Barr, John Ashcroft, Robert Bork, Michael Chertoff, Ken Starr, Josh Hawley, and Richard Epstein.
They’re also well-funded. The Federalist Society is funded by massive, secret contributions from corporate right-wing groups that have insidious agendas before the courts.
But I thought beer-boofing, mmmbased Brett Kavanaugh was supposed to repeal Roe v. Wade and send DACA kids back to South America on a container ship?
Not a chance.
So the conservative cope goes in the face of abject betrayal: “all justices moderate over time”, but is that true of liberal justices? Especially Jewish liberal justices? In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Roberts, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh all seem to be competing for the preeminent centrist swing vote, which of course, is by design. Just imagine if these ostensibly conservative jurists voted on issues even in a moderate way. The docket would be a slaughterhouse of sacred cows.
Ah yes, the essence of Judeo-Christian false dichotomies, except in matters where the fate of the kritarchy is concerned. In that case, organizations like the Federalist Society must be erected to serve as chokepoints for subversion by outsiders – and they’re just getting started.
