Forget Netflix:Watch Free Streaming Operas Instead

Very OT: The Metropolitan Opera is showing free live streams from the company’s Live in HD series on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 6:30 p.m. the following day.

You should check out the schedule if you have ever had any desire to see an opera. They are spectacular.

These are extremely well done live recordings of the grandest productions in the U.S., with the optimal camera angles all worked out ahead of time. Highly recommended.
